You Don’t Own Your Car

In the U.S. car ownership has been romanticize as being synonymous with freedom. Open roads, independence, the ability to leave whenever you wanted, go wherever you wanted, and answer to nobody but the gas gauge and your bad decisions.
But now your car is slowly turning into a rolling surveillance appliance with monthly subscription fees and the potential ability to narc on you, disable itself, or refuse to function unless the your behavior matches what the tech oligarchs and government want you to be doing.
This is all being marketed to the sheep as “safety” and “innovation.”
