It took over 40,000 dead Palestinians, most of whom were women and children, plus tens of thousands more maimed and buried alive, entire neighborhoods flattened, babies burned with white phosphorus, and the systematic starvation of two million people, but now, nearly two years into this bloodbath, the tide of public opinion is at last shifting.

At least cosmetically.

Israel’s defenders, longtime apologists, and even prominent Israelis themselves are finally beginning to whisper what Palestinian voices and international law experts have been screaming from the start: this is a genocide.
