I, like most Americans who actually pay attention, have suspected Israel is controlling our government, just look at the AIPAC money received by almost every single lawmaker. That’s the convenient theory, one that lets the U.S. play the victim of influence. But maybe it’s time to consider the uncomfortable alternative: that this was the plan all along. That the U.S. isn’t being dragged into endless war and displacement in the Middle East, it’s been orchestrating it, methodically, for decades.

Israel is just a front, someone to blame, a tool of the empire.
