Growing up as an Evangelical, you’re taught not to really look into what other religions believe. You’re told that they’re essentially evil and that any doubt or curiosity would be the work of evil forces leading you away from the “truth,” much like how “secular culture” tries to do the same with movies, shows, music, etc.
It’s why you see horrible knockoff versions of so many things among Christian circles in the U.S., such as Christian rap or Christian rock music…all of which are objectively terrible. All of this is to shield those poor, innocent Christian minds from knowledge of the outside world.
But what do these other “evil” religions think about Christians? Are there any exceptions that Evangelicals are ok with?
