Thank God Governments Don’t Assassinate or Lie Anymore

I’m so relieved to live in such an enlightened age.
The dark, shadowy days of governments “removing” inconvenient people or manufacturing propaganda are long gone thankfully. Assassinations, hit jobs, psy-ops, staged events, disinformation campaigns, all ancient history now.
These are modern times, and modern governments are pure as snow.
Take assassinations. Those are basically myths now.
Back in the Cold War, sure, the CIA had a weird fixation on knocking off foreign leaders. Patrice Lumumba, Salvador Allende, dozens of coups in Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, but that’s just trivia for history nerds.
In today’s world? It’s absolutely unthinkable.
Look no further than the definitely not suspicious killing of Charlie Kirk.
A rising star in the pro-Israel crowd who’d started questioning the narrative after October 7th, musing aloud that maybe Hamas couldn’t have pulled off its attack without someone standing down inside Israel, and warning that Gaza would be ethnically cleansed. Not too long after some of his recent public questioning of the narrative, poof. He’s gunned down
And in record time Trump, Netanyahu, and the rest of the usual suspects are on camera, spinning it for maximum emotional leverage. But of course, that’s not an op. That’s just fate. Nothing to see here.
And let’s not forget the epic string of coincidences around the Clintons
So many friends and associates meeting tragic “accidents,” “suicides,” or just mysteriously dying young. Purely bad luck. And Jeffrey Epstein, the guy who had a black book full of the world’s elite, including royals, presidents, and billionaires, just happened to kill himself in one of the most secure jails in the country, with cameras malfunctioning and guards asleep.
Total coincidence. Definitely not a hit job. We’ve evolved past that kind of thing, and only conspiracy nuts would believe that it was anything other than the mainstream narrative.
Propaganda?
Also a relic. The Gulf of Tonkin, Kuwaiti incubator babies, WMDs in Iraq, all from the bad old days.
Today, our governments are honest brokers.
When they claim to be “protecting democracy” by censoring dissent online, it’s not about narrative control, it’s about safety. When the press runs wall-to-wall coverage of Gaza parroting military talking points, it’s not propaganda, it’s just “responsible journalism.” And when a tragedy happens at just the right time to justify a war, new powers, or new surveillance programs, it’s not manufactured consent, it’s just coincidence and luck.
Our leaders would never manipulate, never assassinate, never lie to push an agenda.
So let’s all breathe a sigh of relief.
The days of dirty tricks are over. No more political murders disguised as suicides.
No more psy-ops disguised as news.
That was the past.
Now we live in a world where governments tell the truth, protect their citizens, and only act in the purest good faith.
*Whew*
