Bipartisan Agreement Should Always Raise a Red Flag

First let’s stop pretending neoliberalism is some complex academic theory, it’s simply a hostile corporate takeover masquerading as “freedom.” They call it free markets, privatization, deregulation, “fiscal responsibility.”

What it really means is stripping power away from the public and handing it to billionaires who will never even set foot in a public hospital, eat a school lunch, or ride a city bus.

Both Republicans and Democrats have been in on it for nearly fifty years, smiling while Wall Street and corporate America loot the country.

This scam can be broken down into four easy steps:

Convince everyone government services are “inefficient.”

Hand those services to private corporations who immediately jack up prices and run them into the ground.

Deregulate everything so corporations can pollute, exploit workers, and cook the books.

Cut taxes for the rich, then point at the “budget crisis” you manufactured as the excuse to slash public programs even more.
