The North Atlantic Treaty Organization, that friendly club of “democracies” that says it exists purely for defense, to promote peace. If you listen to Western politicians, NATO is a passive force, a polite bouncer at the door for global stability. In reality, NATO is less about defense and more about defending economic interests, imperial ones, and the corporate ones hiding behind every “humanitarian” intervention.
The truth is, NATO is an aggressive, expansionist military alliance with a god complex and a really good PR team.
