Nationalism Masquerading as Religion

The claim that “Zionism is Judaism” is one of the most weaponized false equivalencies in modern geopolitics, yet it is something that is common to see even here in my comments.

If you dare to take this stance, you will quickly be labeled a heretic, an anti-Semite, or a Nazi.

Regardless of that, the truth is Zionism is not Judaism; rather, it is, in fact, a political ideology that hijacked a religion, distorted it into a nationalist blueprint.

To equate a settler-colonial, ethnonationalist movement with a 3,000-year-old faith rooted in moral struggle, exile, and divine justice is not just blasphemous. That’s not even hyperbolic, it’s something that thousands of observant Jews have been saying since the very inception of Zionism.
