Israel Is A Pariah

The U.S. Continues To Be on the Wrong Side Of History

While the U.S. keeps shoveling weapons into a genocidal meat grinder in Gaza, a group of over 30 nations, mostly from the Global South, are meeting in Bogotá, Colombia. They’ve convened to enforce international law where the West refuses to, and to plainly say what the West won’t, that Israel’s war on Gaza is not self-defense, it’s extermination.

The Hague Group, co-founded by South Africa and Colombia, brought together dozens of countries, and twelve of them signed onto six serious commitments aimed at isolating and holding Israel accountable for war crimes. That’s more than most of the UN has managed in decades.

While they acted, the United States, true to form, kept handing Israel the bullets, shielding it at the UN, and pretending it still has the moral high ground.
