Here we are teetering on the edge of global catastrophe because an (alleged) nuclear-armed state decided it could pick a fight it likely can’t finish.

Israel’s recent preemptive strike on Iran was a geopolitical Hail Mary, and from the looks of it, they’re already paying the price and trying to drag the rest of us into the fire with them.

Netanyahu and his cabinet of genocidal war hawks genuinely seemed to believe they could strike Iran and walk away without consequences. Expecting I guess that Iran was just going to sit there and take it.

What we’re seeing unfold is a huge military miscalculation, an overconfidence rooted in decades of U.S.-funded impunity and a belief that technological superiority can substitute for strategy.
