If you talk to Christians about Islam an argument that commonly comes up is that Allah is not the same God that Christians and Jews worship, as well as claiming that Islam is a religion that calls for violence as opposed to Christianity wanting peace.

It’s an argument repeated time and time again, but what basis do we see in the actual scriptures, Quran or Bible, that support this?
