Apparently, History Doesn’t Repeat Itself Loudly Enough for Some Folks.

I genuinely can’t believe I still see people parroting the mainstream line that a large-scale U.S. military intervention in Venezuela would somehow stop drugs from entering America or keep “rapists and criminals” from crossing the border. I mean, are people really this gullible?
Let’s pretend for a second that this was the real reason, which it’s not. The U.S. doesn’t spend trillions of dollars bombing countries because we’re worried about a few kilos of coke making it through Miami customs. The real reason is the same tired formula it’s always been: oil, resources, and crushing anything that even looks like socialism before it spreads.
Anyone with half a memory should know by now what happens when the U.S. “liberates” a country. Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, you destabilize a nation, bomb its infrastructure, and kill thousands of civilians, and then what do you get?
Refugee crises. Mass migration. Regional chaos.
Every single time, without exception. But somehow, people convince themselves that this time it’ll be different. This time, dropping bombs on a country of nearly 30 million people will magically “stabilize” things and keep people from fleeing north…
