Democrat Weather Control Machines?
Reasons to stay off of social media

If you frequent social media no doubt you’ve run across at least one comment saying “This weather sure is weird” in regard to the recent hurricanes that have hit the southeast U.S.
Unfortunately, I already could read between the lines when I saw this comment because I knew the person was a conservative Christian who wasn’t quite sure about the shape of the Earth, so I didn’t continue the conversation with them any further than that.
Another person I’ve known since high school however wasn’t as vague about their beliefs, they posted a meme pointing out all of the patents that have been made since the 1800s for people trying to control the weather. Now sure, China has proven that when certain chemicals are shot into clouds they can either dissipate them or cause them to gather more moisture and likely rain. But that is a long way away from being able to create a hurricane.
The best conspiracy theories are always based on half-truths.
That is the narrative that conservatives in the U.S. are currently trying to push, that hurricane Helene and Milton have been formed by democrats to hit the U.S. south to either kill or at least prevent these areas from being able to vote.
They seem to be ignoring the fact that the current democrat administration is taking all the heat for the response to this disaster, the lack of extended funding to FEMA while simultaneously funding a war and a genocide…How is this helping their odds in November?
I’m also blown away at the fact that these people somehow believe that man is too insignificant to cause manmade climate change, yet also able to directly create and steer a hurricane for political reasons.
How is someone able to hold both of those beliefs at the same time?
Basically everyone is looking around and noticing larger storms, larger wildfires, or lack of winter in some areas when they grow up snow in certain months that never have it anymore. Or events like the blizzard that hit central Texas in 2021.
Even if you aren’t a scientist you can likely understand that burning excessive amounts of stuff and cutting down tons of forests could change our atmosphere, that more acidified warmer oceans are occurring, and that warmer water could contribute to bigger storms. Warmth contains energy, thus more energy in storm systems = bigger, more violent storms.
How is this the ridiculous answer to these people, yet the idea that a select evil cabal has a machine that can create and control these storms is somehow the logical answer?
If these people believe that the government has this type of technology then why aren’t they questioning the military funding? Why send our troops off to die when you can just send multiple Category 5 storms at that place and level it?
Why even keep up a nuclear arsenal? Let’s redistribute that nearly 1 trillion a year funding to programs to help our homeless or fund healthcare/education.
Can they truly believe that this sort of technology exists and is being used for such a petty reason? Do I need to deactivate all of my social media to regain some faith in humanity?
Interacting with people like this has made situations we read about in history that always seem so ridiculous or extreme make so much more sense, Third Reich, witch trials, etc.
Those types of folk are all still here with us.
