Americans are struggling with sky-high utility bills, water restrictions, and crumbling infrastructure, and at that same time a new breed of tech oligarchs and their government enablers are carving up the countryside for monstrous data centers. These are power-guzzling, water-sucking behemoths that are being built for the AI surveillance state, and thankfully some locals are starting to fight back against this “progress”.
