Are Gay Christians Going to Hell?
Why don’t Christians take other “sins” as seriously?

Most Christians believe that gay people are hellbound and claim to have this belief due to those folks “living in sin.”
Meanwhile, we don’t see this same sort of judgment put towards heterosexual couples that live together before marriage, except among some very hardcore Christians. Even then, they don’t apply the same level of contempt and judgment towards hetero couples that they apply towards gay couples.
Why is that?
Most Christians will agree that in the eyes of God, all sins are the same and that the “wages of sin is death” according to Paul in Romans… Then anyone who is committing sin, no matter the sin, is still doomed without obtaining salvation through Christ, right?
Romans 6:23-NASB
23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gracious gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Christians will claim that they are saved, but which route to salvation is the correct one? Between various denominations, there aren’t real agreements on the route to be “saved”, other than faith in Jesus, but there is a lot of nuance on how exactly that works.
If you’re a Catholic, you have a certain route, with various ceremonies and practices such as confession.
Protestants have a different set of requirements depending on the denomination, with varying levels of importance surrounding things like baptism. Then, some, like the Pentecostals, believe you can backslide and need to show a sign of being “baptized in the Holy Spirit,” such as speaking in tongues.
Meanwhile, Baptists say you can’t backslide, believing in the concept of “once saved, always saved”.
