All Expenses Paid Trips, While on Recess From Epstein

While you were wondering why we still don’t have the full Epstein files, here’s the short version: Congress could have voted to release them last week, but instead, one Republican threw a procedural wrench in the works, leadership slammed the brakes, and everyone ran for the airport.

Not to their districts. Not to face their voters. But to Israel.

On AIPAC’s dime.

Twenty-five Republicans, mostly freshmen, just spent the week in Israel getting the VIP treatment from the American Israel Education Foundation, AIPAC’s “charity” arm. Netanyahu shook their hands, the IDF gave them the security-tour slideshow, and they all got the kind of access you and I will never see, even though we pay their salaries.

Next week? Twenty Democrats will make the exact same pilgrimage. This is what “bipartisanship” looks like in D.C. They can’t agree on healthcare, housing, or whether you deserve a living wage, but they sure can agree on all-expenses-paid trips to a foreign country to get their talking points straight.

Where’s the press coverage of this?

If this were some trip by a bunch of congressmen to Cancun, you’d hear about it. But when it’s AIPAC buying influence in the middle of an ongoing genocide in Gaza?

Silence.
